Amy is trained in Pre-k thru Adult classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Contemporary.  She has been dancing since she was a little girl and started student teaching at her dance studio when she was 15.  She attended Northern Illinois University for 2 years as a Dance Major before moving to Las Vegas,  Amy is from Yorkville and is married to her loving husband Ryan who has been stationed here at Nellis Air Force Base. She is continuing her education here.  Amy has a very fun loving personality and can relate to all ages.  She knows when to get down and be silly with the 3 yr olds and then can hang out and step it up to be there for the teens.  It takes a one of a kind personality to be able to relate to all ages with such ease and she is one of those few people.  Amy has a lot of patience and dedication with her dancers and it really shows with a love of being a part of CSDA and sharing her talents with dancers of all ages.  It's awesome that she still loves taking dance classes to train more and learn new choreography and can spend time with her hubby, watching movies, reading novels and collecting high heels.  Her Grandma Ekstrand inspired her passion for dance because she was a dancer herself and always encouraged Amy as a child.  We are so excited to have Amy as a part of the CSDA family!
